The Need for change in Women's Ministry...

I feel compelled to write this post...even though it is 10:30....on a school night...and my little guy is fast asleep. I know I should be catching some Zzzzz's...but this message is laid on my heart!

There is a need for a deeper, moving, mobile women's ministry in our area. A ministry not confined by four walls, but one that seeks to explore the world around us, together as sisters in faith. Jen and I are thrilled that our church put us together on this project. We share the same vision and passion for women's ministry. Our main focus is this: women being able to find that group of Christian {or soon to be} women friends in the area. We want talk...REAL talk people. I want to grab an amazingly warm cup of coffee and unload about and celebrate my hectic life, listen to you talk about the struggles, frustrations, and joys that come with being a woman, mom, grandma, sister, friend, wife in this modern age. I don't want to have to meet during the weekday mornings. {I work...how about you??} I don't want to be confined to always talk about and share my faith in the church dining hall {but there definitely will be some of that!!} I want to hike, bike, canoe, camp, sit around a bonfire, volunteer, just sit, watch Hallmark, craft, fail at yoga, rummage sale hop, sing, laugh, cry, travel, and learn about who we are meant to be in Christ's eyes.

Do you want that too?

Here is where Women Recharged comes in. Please join us on October 8th, 6 pm. We are going to hike outside of DL and then enjoy snacks, a bonfire and discuss THIS article. Here is a link to the Facebook event. I would love to share this journey with you.

You're worth it,
